DFNDR Armor Lightweight Level III X Bulletproof Armor Plate
The DFNDR Level III X rifle plate is lightweight at only 4.55 lbs per plate, for a size 8.75×11.75.
The new and limited production Level III X rifle rated hard armor plates. Independently tested to NIJ protocol and designed with a multi-curve profile to provide an ergonomic and comfortable fitting armor system that is intended to wear against your body all day. DFNDR Armor® Rifle Rated Body Armor is equipped with a state of the art Trauma Mitigation Base to minimize the energy of an impact dramatically.
The Level III X Body Armor incorporates a unique Boron Carbide Ceramic Strike Face and Core supported by our proprietary System Structural Reinforcement technology, previously unavailable at this price point.
Tested at muzzle velocities which are listed in the ‘threat profile’ table below and describes the rated ammunition this armor system will defeat. DFNDR Armor® body armor, engineered with the highest grade of ballistic materials; Fiber-Lite Laminate, an ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) bound with a resin matrix to make it a hard stand alone armor system and equipped with Spall-Tek to further reduce spall and deflection of projectile fragments. This armor can be inserted into almost any plate carrier but is specially designed to perform with the DFNDR Armor® QRC System optimally.
